This Unique Invention Was Designed In Cooperation With Organizations For The Blind In The U.S.A., Sweden And Canada, To Help Visually Impaired Find Directions.

The World's Only Braille Compass. Handheld Pocket Size, Has A Flip-Up Hinged Cover Attached To A Clear Durable Thick Plastic Baseplate.  On The Baseplate IS A Round Metal Disc, With Little Bumps. These Bumps Are The Basic Compass Dial Directions In Braille Notation.  This Disc Functions As A Effective Magnetic Compass Needle, Pointing Towards Earth's Magnetic North.  The Disc Is Protected ON Its Sides By A Large Black Smooth Outside Ring.  The Disc Features A Raised Heading Direction Needle.

User's Have Summited Everest, Conquered Peaks Around The Globe, And Used It In Classroom Instruction All Over The World.

To Use Braille Compass

  1. hold the Braille compass level with its cover closed and the compass's cord next to your body. This will allow the compass dial to settle on the North direction.

  2. Open the cover slowly. When the cover is opened, the compass center card is locked in place so the user can feel the graduations.

  3. With a finger, find the graduation on the compass card that is the closest to the raised index line on the dial, which is near the cover's hinge. This is the direction that you are facing.
